2020 relaunch of this awesome early 90s classic. Prince Double Bridge with inbuilt dampener.

In celebration of their 50th anniversary, Prince reintroduces one of their most popular classics. It's called the CTS Synergy DB26, and it was spotted in the hands of a young Jennifer Capriati back in the day. In addition to its surgical 97 inch head and solid graphite construction, this stick packs a 12.2 ounce strung weight, giving it the stability and plow-through of a traditionally weighted player's racquet. It features Prince's familiar Double Bridge throat piece (with the signature Liquid Crystal Polymer) to help with dampening. This stick also features a CTS beam that goes from a thick and powerful 26mm in the head down to 20mm in the shaft for extra feel. From the baseline, this racquet feels rock solid at impact, and it does a great job redirecting the pace of a big hitting opponent. The thick 26mm beam at the head gives this stick impressive comfort and power in the upper hoop, which is not the case with the majority of more modern player's racquets. Although it has a fairly high static weight, Prince has given it a sub-330 swingweight, resulting in impressive speed and all-court mobility. It also packs an open 16x18 string pattern, giving it enough spin-potential to bend and shape the ball's trajectory with spin. At net, the CTS Synergy DB26 offers the best of both worlds. It comes around fast to deliver an extremely stable and powerful feel at impact. Like many of our favorite heavier racquets, this one will do the work for you once you move it into position. On serve, there is some juicy power to be had for those who can get this stick moving fast. Although this throwback from the 90s is a must buy for collectors, we doubt you'll hang it on your wall after hitting with it once.
